Joe Miller, Vice President of Chemistry


Regis is proud to welcome Joe MIller, Ph.D. to the new senior leadership role of Vice President of Chemistry. Joe will align our core chemical development groups: Process Research, Process Development, and Analytical Method Development into one cohesive customer-focused team and deliver great solutions to our customers. 
Joe received his Ph.D. in 1982 from the University of California, Davis. He then worked as a post-doctoral research assistant with Professor Ei-ichi Negishi, 2010 Nobel Chemistry Laureate, at Purdue University for two years. He is the author of 30 chemical research publications and two review articles on organoaluminum chemistry and holds 12 US Patents.  
Joe has worked in the chemical industry for more than 30 years, including Procter & Gamble, Ethyl Corporation, Henkel Research Corporation, and Exxon Chemical Company early in his career. The last 20+ years, however, have been spent in the pharmaceutical CDMO business.  Since 1995, he has held senior leadership roles in Process Chemical R&D and API manufacturing  at Catalytica-DSM Pharmaceuticals, Pharmacore, Irix Pharmaceuticals-Patheon, and most recent Avista Pharma. Joe joined Regis Technologies in August, 2018, and is responsible for Process Chemistry and Analytical Method Development.
