President’s Award Winner 2018

Each year, Regis’ President & CEO recognizes one employee for outstanding performance. Amongst many deserving nominees, Louis Glunz was honored to present Iram Ruiz with the 2018 President’s Award at our company holiday party on December 8th.

Iram joined Regis in late 2013 as a Production Technician. Utilizing excellent problem-solving skills and determination, he soon earned a promotion to Production Chemist I. In this position, Iram grew his skills in both the plant and the lab and earned a subsequent promotion to Production Chemist II.

Over the past two years Iram has been dedicated to a project from the demo batch, through all of the documentation in preparation for validation, and through its three validation batches. Throughout the project, Iram provided development work necessary to keep the project on track. Iram’s attitude and determination are inspiring to all who work with him.

In 2018, Iram became First Shift Production Lead. This allowed for him to take an active role in the daily operations in the plant and provide reliable support to the Plant Manager. Iram is an extremely good communicator and has represented Regis and the production team well via his work and throughout his entire tenure.
